Amy Falk, Executive Director Caritas Clinics, Inc.: Amy Falk has served as executive director of Caritas Clinics, Inc. since February 2006. She has been involved with Duchesne Clinic since 1989. Ms. Falk holds a B.S. degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. She also completed SCL Health System's Leadership Academy and is a Fellow of the Advisory Board Company out of Washington D.C. As executive director, Ms. Falk has the overall responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating, supervising and evaluating all clinic activities to ensure all present and future objectives are met in the areas of health care, finance, planning, legal, mission, ministry, human resources and operations within the limits delegated to her by the Board of Directors.
Ms. Falk is a leader in the metro-area safety-net community. She plays an active role in the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) safety-net collaboration and is co-chair of the safety-net advocacy committee. She has been a board member and served on the legislative committee of the Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved since 2007, and is currently board treasurer and finance chair. Ms. Falk is also an active member of the Safety Net Coalition of Wyandotte County.
Dr. Nancy Mikhaeel, Medical Director: Dr. Mikhaeel, a graduate of the University of Mansoura in Egypt and the Research Family Medicine Residency Program at Research Medical Center, began her service as medical director in 2011. As medical director Dr. Mikhaeel is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of medical delivery at the clinics.
Gloria Guerra, Clinic Manager: Ms. Guerra has served as clinic manager at Duchesne Clinic for seven years. Ms. Guerra, who is bilingual in English and Spanish, handles clinic administration. She manages clerical personnel and translators. She oversees the pre-qualification of patients, appointment scheduling, ordering supplies and other administrative tasks.
